Border Czar Tom Homan said that the FBI leaked information about upcoming raids that would target illegal immigrants and said that those responsible would go to jail.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe think it\u2019s coming from inside,\u201d he said, speaking to Sean Hannity on Fox News on Tuesday, referring to leaks to the media about recent ICE raids in Colorado.<\/p>\n
Homan also said that the FBI was to blame for the leak of information about a big raid that is going to happen in California before the end of the month. He said, \u201cSome of the information we are receiving tends towards the FBI.\u201d<\/p>\n
It is said that the raid was so big that FBI and DEA agents are being sent to help ICE agents.<\/p>\n
Homan said it was \u201conly a matter of time\u201d before the leaks hurt officers. He said it was possible that \u201cbad guys\u201d were waiting for the officers to arrive and set them up.<\/p>\n
Hannity asked Homan how certain he was that the FBI is involved, who replied, \u201cI talked to the deputy attorney general this week and they\u2019ve opened up a criminal investigation. He thinks the information is coming from [the FBI].\u201d \u201cWe\u2019ll let that investigation play out,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cBut some of the leads point that way.\u201d<\/p>\n If the leakers are caught, Homan threatened that \u201cnot only will this person lose their job [and] they will lose their pension, they will go to jail, they\u2019re going to criminally prosecute,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n WATCH:<\/p>\n
\nCriminal investigations are taking place to try and identify those responsible for leaking information about the raids, he said.<\/span><\/p>\n
