\u201cShe\u2019s been f***ing my brother for six weeks in my bed, in my house, while I work to support both of them. She destroyed her own life.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhere is she supposed to go? She has no money, no job.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cShe can go live with Jake. They seem to enjoy each other\u2019s company.\u201d<\/p>\n
The silence on the other end told me everything. Jake had disappeared, too. Probably couldn\u2019t handle the shame of everyone knowing what he\u2019d done to his own brother. Classic Jake, always running when things got complicated.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s not answering anyone\u2019s calls,\u201d Emma said quietly.<\/p>\n
