Animals can sense when things are happening, but she\u2019s just waiting for everything to be okay.\u201d Vanessa encouraged, hearing the sirens grow louder in the background.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVanessa?\u201d Lily\u2019s voice came again, tiny and scared. \u201cIs my dad gonna be okay?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vanessa swallowed, struggling to keep her voice from breaking. \u201cThe paramedics are going to do everything they can, Lily.
