{"id":1804,"date":"2025-05-01T10:37:50","date_gmt":"2025-05-01T10:37:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/readmore.cx\/?p=1804"},"modified":"2025-05-01T10:37:50","modified_gmt":"2025-05-01T10:37:50","slug":"1804","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/readmore.cx\/?p=1804","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>aylor Paige Courtenay, from South Devon, England, is challenging societal beauty norms and speaking out about the judgment she faces, particularly from the \u201colder generation,\u201d for her extensive tattoos.<\/p>\n<p>The 27-year-old woman, who has body art covering her neck, arms, stomach, and legs, often describes her skin as a tapestry of memories and expressions, illustrating her belief in owning her story.<\/p>\n<p>But being visibly\u00a0tattooed\u00a0comes with challenges, and the woman \u2013 who frequently boasts her scantily clad body on social media \u2013 is often seen addressing the negativity directed at her inked identity.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-that-girl\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2018That girl\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>In one of her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@txypc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">TikTok<\/a>\u00a0clips, the young woman reveals she had \u201ccome to terms\u201d with \u201cthe fact that she\u2019ll never be \u201cthat girl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll never be the girl they take home to their parents; I\u2019ll never be the girl they talk about with their friends; I\u2019ll never be the girl to be invited round for dinner, I\u2019ll never be the girl they show off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The buxom blonde added: \u201cI\u2019ll always be the temporary fix, I\u2019ll be the girl they use to pass the time, I\u2019ll always be the girl that\u2019s hidden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Still, she insists that she doesn\u2019t \u201ceven care,\u201d as her \u201cskin makes [her] happy.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-graffiti\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2018Graffiti\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>Despite her bold proclamations of her satisfaction with her body art, she\u2019s often the target of the judgemental online community, many who suggest she\u2019ll regret covering so much of her body.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to her critics, specifically members belonging to the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/elderly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">older<\/a>\u00a0generation,\u201d Courtenay shared a clip with the caption, \u201cYour tattoos are not going to look good when you hit 60.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dismissing her requests to keep quiet with harsh opinions, online users jumped into the comments section and offered their thoughts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will keep our opinions to ourselves if you keep you tattoos to yourself,\u201d one user writes to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/femail\/article-12138687\/Woman-says-old-people-tell-wont-look-good-60-tattoos.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Daily Mail<\/a>, referring to her barely-there attire. Adding to that, a second user writes, \u201cIf you don\u2019t want other people\u2019s opinions, keep your clothes on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonest question for you. Do you not worry at all what they will look like when [you\u2019re] 60?\u201d writes a third netizen on Courtenay\u2019s social media. And another user shares, \u201cAny\u00a0tattoo\u00a0takes from natural beauty. I cannot understand how someone with such a beautiful body will cover it with graffiti?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But some members of the online community celebrated her storytelling canvas and praised her confidence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cScrew them. Got my first ink at 17 and now 15 years later got sleeves, chest and back piece. Love them and no regrets. Will still think this at 60,\u201d offers one.<\/p>\n<p>A second supporter remarks, \u201cExactly. Your body is yours to do with what u want. Not everyone will like it, but they don\u2019t have to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While she seemed to thrive in her individuality, the woman has disabled comments, denying online users the option of sharing their thoughts on her social media.<\/p>\n<p>And, according to a December 2024 post, Courtenay is now \u201cthat girl\u201d to the father of her baby, who was born in the summer of 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are your thoughts on this mother\u2019s excessive body art?
