I kept my focus, ignoring the noise. I\u2019d faced this kind of resistance my whole career. I knew my technique spoke louder. I trusted the majority of the soldiers could see the damn math of what I was doing, the pure, undeniable efficacy of leverage. But the seed of doubt he was planting was still a distraction, an irritant I had to mentally shove aside. I had to focus on the task, on the demonstration, on my purpose.<\/p>\n

Chapter 2: The Challenge Accepted<\/h4>\n

The demonstration progressed. I worked with three different volunteers\u2014a linebacker-sized engineer, a quick-moving logistics specialist, and a tall, lanky comms expert. Each presented a distinct challenge, and each time, my technique held, proving its versatility and neutralizing the size differences.<\/p>\n

The crowd was engaged now. The initial skepticism had been replaced by genuine curiosity. Hands went up with thoughtful questions. Notebooks were pulled out. Most of them were here to learn, to take the lessons back to their units.<\/p>\n
