think we have the greatest 100 days in the history of our country for that administration. We\u2019re planning to do more. Uh, we\u2019ve gotten rid of woke. We\u2019re strengthening up our military. Think of it. Six months ago, we had the worst, uh, numbers in the history of our military for joining up \u2014 joining our military,\u201d the president said.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow we have the best numbers we\u2019ve ever had. Just think of that. It\u2019s not even possible. Inflation\u2019s down. All costs are down. Everything is down other than, as Tristan said, the, uh, thing that you carry the babies around in. But that\u2019s up 3%. Uh, energy\u2019s down. Gas is down. Nobody\u2019s ever seen anything \u2014 far ahead of schedule. The Democrats were destroying our country,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
So people that were paying a lot for groceries, they\u2019re paying a lot less. And, uh, interest rates are even down. You know, we have a very stubborn Fed, but Mitch \u2014 I mean, Fitch and [Inaudible], uh, that\u2019s, that\u2019s okay, but interest rates are down, mortgage rates are down. Been pretty amazing. So we\u2019ve done, I think \u2014 I \u2014 I don\u2019t think there\u2019s ever been a better opening 100 days,\u201d President Trump said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a lot of fake polls when they interview Democrats, not Republicans, but, uh, beating more Democrats. I had a pollster that said to me \u2014 A legitimate pollster, John McLaughlin, top person. He said he\u2019s never seen polls that were so fake before where they overweigh the Democrats. And I only bring that up because I think it\u2019s something that should be said,\u201d the president said before tearing into the media.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a shame how dishonest the media is. The media is corrupt and they\u2019re dishonest, and they\u2019re so bad for our country. Thank you very much, everybody. Thank you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
