Kristin Cheyenne Martinson, 28, who went by Cheyenne, was on the bike when it crashed at around 11:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, May 6, Cleveland 19 News reported, citing the Greenville County Sheriff\u2019s Office (GCSO).<\/p>\n

The driver was identified as Cheyenne\u2019s husband Peter Martinson, according to a GoFundMe page.<\/p>\n

Cheyenne and Peter were both initially transported to the hospital following the crash, but Cheyenne was eventually pronounced dead, according to Cleveland 19 News.<\/p>\n

Cheyenne was six months pregnant when she died. She and her husband shared a two-year-old son, per the GoFundMe.<\/p>\n

The circumstances surrounding the cause of the crash have not been released by authorities.<\/p>\n

The GCSO did not immediately respond to PEOPLE\u2019s request for comment on Saturday, May 10.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of a tragic accident involving Peter and his wife, Cheyenne,\u201d the GoFundMe page stated. \u201cThey were involved in a motorcycle accident that has turned their lives upside down. Cheyenne, who was six months pregnant, tragically passed away along with their unborn child.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the fundraising page, Peter is in critical condition and \u201cfighting for his life, but is stable.\u201d<\/p>\n
