The air smelled of expensive perfume and ambition. Dresses were less about fashion and more about architecture\u2014voluminous tulle clouds, blinding sequin armors, and brand logos so large they could be read from space. Diamonds flashed like camera strobes, signaling status in Morse code.<\/span><\/p>\n
