Voters are slightly more likely to approve than disapprove of Trump\u2019s job performance, 50% to 47%, and slightly more likely to view him unfavorably than favorably on a personal level, 49% to 48%,\u201d Yokley told Newsweek. \u201cBoth figures represent marginal improvements from last week\u2019s update and are similar to his numbers at the same point in his first term in office.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"505\" data-end=\"601\">The Morning Consult poll was conducted between February 14 and 16 among 2,217 registered voters.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"603\" data-end=\"720\">Additionally, a recent survey from a Republican polling firm indicated that Trump maintains a strong approval rating.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"922\" data-is-last-node=\"\">The Napolitan News survey, conducted by Scott Rasmussen and RMG Research, showed Trump\u2019s approval at 55 percent, with a disapproval rating of 43 percent, giving him a net approval score of +12 points, Newsweek added.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"174\">Trump\u2019s approval rating among this group has remained above 50 percent since he returned to the White House on January 20, peaking at 57 percent during his inauguration week.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"176\" data-end=\"323\">The Napolitan News poll surveyed 3,000 registered voters between February 10 and 14, with a margin of error of plus or minus 1.8 percentage points.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"325\" data-end=\"438\" data-is-last-node=\"\">RMG Research was founded by pollster Scott Rasmussen, who also established the polling company Rasmussen Reports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"325\" data-end=\"438\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\u201cIt\u2019s not terribly uncommon for Americans to hold slightly different views of public officials as people (favorability) versus their performance of the job (approval),\u201d Chris Jackson, senior vice president of U.S. public affairs at Ipsos, previously told\u00a0Newsweek.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-10\">Advertisement<\/p>\n<div id=\"ld-12578241793956198-359\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-start=\"325\" data-end=\"438\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\u201cWhat we\u2019ve heard in some qualitative research is there is a small but real group of Americans who do not personally like President Trump or his behavior, but they think he is the right person for the job or the moment,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"141\">Meanwhile, a significant shift is taking place in how major corporations approach and fund Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, an issue Trump campaigned on last year before\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/conservativebrief.com\/trump-as-5-89511\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">destroying<\/a>\u00a0now-former Vice President Kamala Harris.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"143\" data-end=\"347\">Trump accelerated this transition last month by signing an executive order eliminating DEI policies and staff within the federal government and extending the ban to federal contractors, The Center Square\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/justthenews.com\/nation\/states\/center-square\/trump-gains-more-ground-war-against-dei\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"143\" data-end=\"347\">Some private companies had already begun scaling back DEI initiatives before Trump took office.
