Chaos erupted in the hallway of an elementary school after a fight broke out amongst adults attending a kindergarten graduation ceremony in West Memphis, Arkansas.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, May 28, several attendees of a graduation at Faulk Elementary School began throwing punches after a heated exchange that was caught on camera and shared by Aleicia Evans.<\/p>\n

In the clip, a group of women appeared to be having a verbal argument as two men looked ON. However, the situation soon turned physical. Although they appeared to originally attempt to hold the women back, the men were quickly involved in the fight.<\/p>\n

Children in the background could be heard crying and begging for the adults to stop fighting. Other adults in the crowd appeared to be leaving the scene.<\/p>\n

In the aftermath, one of the women appeared to have had a wig pulled off her head, while one of the men had the neckline of his shirt dramatically stretched out.<\/p>\n

It is not clear what started the fight.<\/p>\n

The West Memphis School District denounced the behavior and promised consequences for everyone involved in a statement shared on Facebook.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe district is aware of an incident involving parents that occurred today at Faulk Elementary School. The safety and security of our students, staff, and school campuses remain our top priority. We have zero tolerance for any behavior \u2014 by parents, students, staff, or visitors \u2014 that disrupts the learning environment or threatens the wellbeing of anyone on school grounds,\u201d the statement, attributed to superintendent Eric Foister, reads.<\/p>\n

It continues: \u201cSuch actions are unacceptable and will not be tolerated. The district is fully cooperating with the West Memphis Police Department and will actively support efforts to prosecute those responsible to the fullest extent of the law. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and secure environment at all of our schools.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to FOX13, Foister said that the school district is examining other video footage of the brawl amid the investigation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have our own camera system with sound. So we have gathered all that. Obviously, we are a small community, so we have the names. We\u2019ve presented those names to the local law enforcement. They are now doing their investigative process, and we\u2019ll just wait and see how the legal system plays out,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

He told the outlet that he would hold those involved \u201cto the fullest accountability I can working with our local law enforcement.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only way, if you\u2019re a parent, you can have access to obviously dropping your kid off and picking your kid up,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd you would have access to a scheduled meeting with a principal that\u2019s approved, with a teacher. We\u2019re not going to; I don\u2019t want to punish the child for the parents\u2019 action,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Foister told the outlet that no one had reported any serious injuries after the fight.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
