Strings of soft lights glowed around the room. Bolts of colorful fabric were spread out across long tables. Rolls of thread, sewing patterns, and\u2014at the center\u2014a brand-new sewing machine.<\/p>\n

Hugo spun around, startled. \u201cMom! It\u2019s not what you think!\u201d<\/p>\n

L\u00e9a looked nervous, then sighed and began explaining.<\/p>\n
