At 30,000 feet, some passengers adopt behaviors that would never fly on the ground.

In the “r/Delta” forum on Reddit, one user posted a photo titled “Crimes against humanity” showing a man reclining with his bare feet propped up on the seat in front of him.

The comments quickly filled with reactions and shared experiences from other travelers.

“This strikes me as the same type of person who would clip their nails in public,” one user remarked.

Another quipped, “This is not your mom’s basement, sir.”

A third added, “Living room syndrome strikes again.”

One commenter admitted, “This is why I travel with Clorox wipes on planes.”

When someone asked, “Did you say anything?” the original poster replied, “Sure did, he at least put his socks back on.”

Redditors questioned a flight passenger putting his bare feet up on the back of seat.

Jacqueline Whitmore, a Florida-based etiquette expert and former flight attendant, told Fox News Digital that feet should always remain covered in some way on a plane.

“From an etiquette standpoint, it is rude to walk about barefoot in a public place, as many germs can be transmitted from your feet,” Whitmore explained.

“If you plan to take off your shoes on a longer flight, it’s best not to walk around without slippers for your own health and safety. The floor of the plane is extremely dirty, especially in the lavatory. The water on the floor is most likely not water at all.”

Whitmore also noted that bare feet affect others, not just the passenger.

“For fellow passengers, seeing someone walk around barefoot can be considered unpleasant or unhygienic, which could negatively impact their flying experience.”

Her advice for comfort without crossing the line? Slip into a clean pair of socks, wear slippers, or choose more comfortable shoes.

As I lay there, he leaned in and whispered, “Say you slipped… or you lose everything.” At the hospital, his “perfect” story almost worked—until his assistant slid me a flash drive: secret recordings, offshore accounts, and one line that froze my blood: “If she tries to leave, ruin her.” Then my lawyer said, “Caroline… you own 68%.” Now I’m walking into court—smiling—ready to end him. But winning was the easy part…
