A young couple entered the shoe store — a man in an elegant suit and a beautiful woman. At first glance they looked flawless, as if they had stepped off a magazine cover. — We need red high-heeled shoes, — the man said sharply, without looking at the saleswoman or even greeting her.
— And what is your size, madam? — the saleswoman asked politely.

The saleswoman brought a pair and offered the woman a seat. As she bent down to help her put on the shoes, she suddenly noticed that the customer was desperately trying to catch her eye, slightly moving her foot.
