Fifteen-year-old aspiring footballer Izaiah Smith tragically lost his life the same weekend after drowning in a lake at Beckenham Place Park. Authorities discovered his body during a late-night search and determined that the circumstances surrounding his death were not suspicious. Izaiah, who was remembered as a gifted and vibrant individual, has been honored with tributes from his school, Kingsdale Foundation, local football clubs, and numerous members of the community. A fundraising campaign established in his memory has successfully raised over £12,000 to assist his family.
