The woman huffed and left the elevator. But again — nothing. The doors closed, and the elevator didn’t move.
By then I was laughing out loud, unable to stop. One by one, they started to step out, thinking that was the cause. But the elevator still didn’t work.
And only later it turned out that it wasn’t me at all. The old elevator had been malfunctioning for a long time, and this time it simply refused to move.
