Lilia started waking up in tears, falling asleep at school, and drawing darker, more disturbing pictures. Her teacher called home, saying the girl had become withdrawn and frightened.
One night, the mother decided to sleep in her daughter’s room. But the night passed quietly — no steps, no rustling. When she told Lilia, the girl just lowered her eyes:
