On the path, a huge man in a hood suddenly stepped out of the darkness. She didn’t even have time to scream—he covered her mouth and began dragging her toward a ravine.
Anna smelled the sharp stench of alcohol. He mumbled that he had “been watching her for a long time” and that “no one would hear anything in the forest.”
She fought as hard as she could, but she was no match for him.
And then the forest… rumbled.
Quietly, long, threateningly.
From the shadows, where the moonlight barely reached, four silhouettes appeared—large, powerful, moving in perfect sync. The man froze. Anna did too.
