Police reported that a pilot, a passenger, and a dog were killed when a handmade kit plane crashed into two Simi Valley homes on Saturday.
About 50 miles northwest of Los Angeles, in the 200 block of High Meadow Street, a single-engine Vans RV-10 plane crashed at around 2:00 pm.
