Ralph, a highly trained airport security dog, calmly patrolled the bustling terminal alongside his handler, a seasoned officer named Sergeant Mills. Most travelers passed without notice, but Ralph wasn’t looking for people — he was searching for danger.
As they neared the cargo storage area, Ralph suddenly halted. His demeanor shifted. Ears alert, tail stiff, he let out a low whine and fixated on a nondescript black suitcase sitting among others waiting for transfer.
Sergeant Mills immediately noticed the change. Ralph was never wrong.
Without warning, the dog placed both front paws on the suitcase and barked once — sharp and direct — then whimpered again as if pleading for attention.
