I went to pick up my wife and our twin daughters from the maternity ward — but she was gone, leaving only a note behind.

I was filled with excitement as I drove to the hospital to bring Lina and our newborn twins home. For days, I’d been eagerly preparing for their return—arranging the nursery, preparing a celebratory meal, and even picking up some balloons to make the day extra special.

But everything came crashing down the moment I arrived.

Lina was nowhere to be found.

Only our two daughters lay peacefully sleeping in their bassinets, and beside them, a single letter.
