A chill ran through me. Who did this? Why? What kind of grim theater was this?

The first thing that came to mind was maybe some workers mixed up the lots. But I definitely hadn’t hired anyone. I walked around the hole. A shovel lay nearby. Boot prints. Someone had dug hard, for a long time.

I began to shake. My throat went dry. It was clear: this was no accident. It was someone’s idea. An idea with a message.

I ran into the house and immediately turned on the security footage.

Rewinding through the past few days, I stopped when I saw this… Continued in the first comment 👇👇

Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared. Night. The second day of my vacation. In the shadow of a car’s headlights came out… her. My ex-girlfriend.

We had been together almost two years. At first, everything was great, but over time she became controlling, hot-tempered, insanely jealous. I endured for a long time, but one day I just left.

No scandals, no hysterics — I packed my things and left. She wrote, called, cried. Then went silent. I thought it was over. Apparently, I was wrong.

She wore a black hoodie with a hood and gloves. She carried a shovel. And started digging.

Almost four hours straight. With breaks. Alone. In complete silence. Only the headlights and the sound of digging. Then she stood at the edge of the hole, took out a wooden cross, stuck it in the ground, looked straight at the camera and… smiled. Calmly, coldly.

Something was written on the cross.

I zoomed in. My hand was shaking.

“Here lies a traitor”

I ran to the sink and vomited. It wasn’t just a gesture. It was a warning. Revenge. A sign that she wasn’t done. That maybe she was still nearby. That she was watching.

I immediately called the police. Explained, showed the footage. They took it very seriously. While waiting for the patrol, I couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was watching me from behind the fence. Behind the trees. From the darkness.

The next morning she was arrested. She lived in a rented apartment in another district. During the interrogation she denied nothing. She only said:

“I just wanted him to know how much I loved him.”

She was sent for psychiatric evaluation. And I couldn’t sleep at night for a long time. Every morning, leaving the house, I glanced at the lawn as if expecting to see a new hole there.

  • I stayed silent about the truth: I was the one who saved my husband’s parents’ home, while his wealthy mistress happily accepted the praise. When I went into labor with twins, no one came to the hospital—they were too busy cooking at that same house and celebrating her “generosity.” The next day, my husband handed me divorce papers.
  • I came home from deployment three days early and found my daughter missing from her room, my wife claiming she was at grandma’s, but when I drove there at 2 a.m. and discovered her crying in a freezing backyard hole because “bad girls sleep in graves,” she begged me not to look in the other hole—yet I did, and what I saw changed everything.
  • I invited my family to my military award ceremony. My dad laughed, “Why go? You’re just a lowly secretary in a uniform.” My sister added, “We’re busy going to a real dinner.” I smiled and said, “That’s fine.” That night, while they were eating at an Italian restaurant, my dad scrolled through Facebook and froze. A relative commented, “Wait, isn’t that Emily? I thought she was just an admin?” My dad turned pale. He realized the “secretary” was a hero, and the empty chair beside me was their shame.
  • My twin sister and I were both eight months pregnant. At her baby shower, my cruel mom demanded that I give my $18,000 baby fund to my sister, saying, “She deserves it more than you!” When I firmly refused, saying, “This is for my baby’s future!”, she called me selfish and then suddenly pu//nc/hed me hard in the stomach with full force. My water broke immediately and I blacked out from the pa/i/n, falling backwards into the pool. Dad said, “Let her float there and think about her selfishness!” My sister laughed, “Maybe now she’ll learn to share!” They all just stood there watching me drown while un/cons/cious. Ten minutes later, I woke up on the edge of the pool where a guest had pulled me out. But when I looked at my pregnant belly, I screamed in sh0ck….
