Squinting from the light, I was walking through the parking lot when I felt… odd. I spotted her when I turned around. A German Shepherd. The windows were foggy, the dog was panting furiously, her tongue was hanging out, and her eyes were glassy, all of which startled me right away. She was clearly at her breaking point. It is significantly hotter inside a car if the outside temperature is 30°C.
I saw a note with a phone number on the windshield. I made a call. A man replied. I made an effort to calmly explain:
